12 Year Old Shooting a Round of Trap with Beretta 303 Trap 30" 12 gauge

Finally got my son interested in shooting trap with us. Been shooting for about 6 weeks. The 12 gauge, 30" barrelled Beretta is a tad heavy/long for him even with the LOP reduced down to 13", but he's starting to get there. 19/25 is a typical round for him - hopefully with more practice and he's puts on a little more weight, he'll get better.

My son shoots that good as well with the skeet chokes in haha it's easy birds once you get your lead it's point and shoot

If the recoil is to much for him add some shot in the stock. Another idea is a forearm weight in the front for less recoil and a smoother swing. He has a good shot. With some more practice he could go straight.
