A single payer plan can work, but only where the government administrator and/or regulator isn't thoroughly corrupt.

What is so wrong with nationalised health care? The rest of the industrialised nations already have it and we are not crumbling into decay. The US is so afraid of change that even change for the better is being avoided. The US spends way too much for healthcare and doesn't even have that healthy people. Here in Australia we have several years higher average life expectancy yet spend less than half the dollars per person on healthcare. Stop being afraid of change America.

It's not about change, it's about the right change. The majority in Congress seem to just be trying to ram *something* through. If you're going to go through the trouble of changing something, should at least make it good change.

George you didn't need to speed up your video to get around youtube's auto censor software...had you just lowered or raised the pitch of audio by -/+ 6% you will fool their system...I've done it with a censored video and it worked perfactly with barely any change in the sound of the video....google "Fun with YouTube's Audio Content ID System" and you'll get the page that details how to get around this BS at the very top of the results

I don't understand this reply.
My idea is to "weaken" the State by raising the democratic threshold. LAW would then be dictatated, not just by a monarch, nor by a majority mob, but by a true concensus of the people. The void left by the withering state gets filled by anarchistic social structures...
