Boxer boxes Graham, GOP hypocrisy on Senate floor

The U.S. Senate gets lively when Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer dukes it out with Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on MSNBC Hardball with Chris Matthews. Boxer joins Graham in theatrics to point out Grahams hypocrisy. Graham waves around the stimulus bill to make a point about the size and lack of time for scrutiny. Look at this bill. This bill has got to be done by tonight. And we are figuring out as we go whats in it. Boxer interrupts to ask a question and mocks Graham with similar theatrics. I find it really rather amazing that the senator (Graham) is holding up a bill, holding up a bill, theatrical. Did you ever do that when George Bush was president, and he sent down a bill twice as big as that? Did he (Graham) ever do that? Thats the theatrics. Wow! Its like Republicans think we are stupid and dont remember Bush scare tactics and quick votes on constitutionally eviscerating bills like The Patriot Act that were rammed through Congress on quick votes. S.T., ditch the FOX filter and right-wing-nut talking points if you want to be taken seriously. Boxer is absolutely correct. Bush used fear tactics often to speed larger, more disaterous bills, often without the courtesy of time for a review, e.g. Patriot Act, domestic spying and Iraq War acts -- and the GOP were more than willing accomplices. BTW, this bill is necessary because of the 8-year disaster known as the Bush Admin.
