Senhoa and Women's Interlink Foundation( WIF) hosted a 3 months course on beads work and life skill with the partnership of Made By Surviors. The agenda of these organisations is to end slavery through economic empowerment and education, giving survivors and people at the highest risk the tools they need to build safe, independent, slavery-free lives.
This was the graduating day of the training at the shelter home of Women Interlink Foundation in which Aloka Mitra, the chairperson of WIF congratulated Anh Q Hua, the trainer (Senhoa) for the success of the training.
Transcription of Aloka's part :
"This is not an easy job, we have done a lot like this when we were kids. I know how much difficulty you have to face. This curriculum is well thought. I want to thank Anh for having patience and also the girls for being co-operative. I am impressed, with the progress which the girls have shown in such a short span of time. So I want to congratulate both Anh and the girls. I thank Anh for helping them by bringing them out from nothing almost and do something so creative. This is amazing."
" In the course of just 3 months she has done such a great job. And we hope that she would be back in India and she has said that she would be back soon. She had a good time here with the girls, so did we.We are very happy that we got an wonderful trainer and human being like her. So a round of applause for Anh"
