@xXEduBuntuXx Their goal was to make it under 10 seconds, and I believe that on SSD drives it will be achieved. I have a fast CPU on this desktop machine, and in NetBooks are usually much slower CPU-s, but even with it, SSD gives a lot of advantage in boot process. Maybe that UNR version will be further optimized to boot faster on NetBooks. Anyway, boot time overall is a great improovement over 9.10.
No kernel messages? Just a blinking cursor?
