Concert in tribute of war victims in S. Ossetia (part 2)

The principal conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra and artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre, Valery Gergiev, has led a concert in Tskhinvali. The performance was staged next to the destroyed parliament building in the bombed-out capital of South Ossetia.

You are wrong. Data on deaths can not be true because of the graves in the houses, schools and hospitals. Killed more than 4000 - but it is not possible to identify them. Need to be in a zone of hostilities, in order to understand the scale of evil. There are more than 3 thousand videos about removing children from the womb of the mother - they both take in one death or two?

I came looking for this concert as I didn't see it on UK media. Great stuff - they could have had less of the split screens but I can understand that emotions were and are running so high that the footage was inevitable.

RT is almost as bad as Fox News & the rest in the US.

Gergiev is a patriot, and I am not sure whether he is aware or would approve of this video montage of his concert.

RT claims that Tskhinvali is in ruins with 2000 dead citizens. I read in other russian media that the death toll was under 100 and from the several pictures & reports that I have seen, the city is still standing and definitely not in total ruin.

Exagerations are very common and truth is usually the first casualty of war.
