After a terrible ride all the way to the Eastcoast, we hit Washington DC. Drove by the white house right away, stuck our finger up in the air, and drove straight to the club.
State College was the first show where we opened up for Lotus. They're a really cool dancable band, and they draw a good crowd too. We're glad to be part of their shows. Jori found a cool feature on his Nokia phone: it can take photos every other second, minute, hour, whatever you want. So he taped the phone to the windshield of the RV and kept on making photos every 5 minutes. We ran into Santa Claus right when we got off the RV in Northampton. He was cool. He was like the janitor of all the music venues in Northampton, called Iron Horse. No showers though.... doh!!
We did so many shows in a row, there's really not so much to tell you except from driving, building up the gear and playing the show.
One of the coolest shows we did was in Burlington, Vermont. The drive was amazing: mountains, snow, white houses, deers, no Mc Donalds or Burger King, rivers, really beautiful. Kip and me bought some new whistles, which expressed our mood on the way there. Also the show was really cool. The house was already packed when we started playing, and people where really into it. Hence the guy makin the rock & roll gestures! Kip got it down too.
Next up was Toronto, Canada, wich was a heavy drive again. Red Bull kept us going!
More to come....
