Busters Ape Show: part 1

KRON Channel 4 in San Frnacisco used to air this locally produced program, it was my favorite when I was a kid. I taped this episode because I was in the studio audience.

Oh dude you got to be on this show? How awesome! I loved this show as a kid. Did u see the episode when buster's older lady friend died in a helicopter accident and they dealt with death? That was my real first intro to death.this show was the bomb! Love seeing him in Mrs Doubtfire!

I am so happy to see this on YouTube. I watched it when it was on the air but haven't found anything about "Buster's Ape Show" online before. Whenever I'd tell people Buster had a spin-off show after "Buster And Me" they'd never believe me!

Thank you so much for posting this! I was a huge fan of "Buster and Me" as a kid. Although I too was unaware of "Buster's Ape Show", it's great seeing this as it brings back so many memories. The kids laughter in the studio audience is hilarious!

I never knew there was another Buster show! What a trip! I remember when I saw "Mrs. Doubtfire" and Buster came on everyone in the audience yelled "Buster!" (Although his name in the movie was Kovacs, but he was our Buster, darnit!)

Buster, Vanilla, and Russell! It's so neat to see these characters again. I used to watch "Buster and Me" on KRON all the time in the 1980s, but I didn't know there was another, later incarnation of the show. Does anyone have the theme song for the original series? I'd love to see it again!

I got to thank u again man,i am 30 and watching this turns me back into a lil kid. it really holds up and is still hella funny. which kid are u in the audience? THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS. Maybe we should start a petition to get Buster and me DVDs, its a local bay area thing so its gonna take a lot of interest for them to make profit and go ahead and decide to produce them.
