that wasn't the beta, it was the Dev Preview. Its for devs to get used to the new operating environment.

And it's closer to ubuntu linux than Mac anyhow.

You didn't make a point about anything. All you said was that it sucked. A) Get your facts right. It's a developer preview, not a beta. This is for developers to start tinkering around with it. B) It's unfinished, so you can't really make any statements on finished product. C) And how does that look like a Mac. I use a Mac at my workplace and I don't see tiles floating all over the place.

Windows 8 has an option to disable the Metro UI. Windows 8 didn't come out yet, and you ready to make a one sided opinion about it.
