Top Rope Productions was formed by 3 time WWE (formerly known as the WWF ) Tag Team champion Afa The Wild Samoan, in 1996. However its roots date back as early as the 1970's, when he ran the Trans World Wrestling Federation and the first ever Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Center, in Pensacola FL. Since the early days of pre-Top Rope and the official formation in 96, Top Rope has expanded into one of the top indies in pro wrestling today. Several Wild Samoan schools have opened, WXW took the wrestling world by storm, overseas tours delivered the action to far away places and even the Ladies got their taste of the glory with the formation of the WXW Women's League. Below are sections that will describe in detail the history and accomplishments of Top Rope and all who have worked hard to make this company what it is today.
TIMELINE 1970's.. The first Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Training Center is opened in Pensacola, F.L. 1985... Wild Samoan Training Center moves to Hamden, C.T. 1987... Wild Samoan Training Center moves to Allentown, P.A. 1996... Top Rope Productions is formed by WWF ring veteran and former Tag Team Champion Afa the Wild Samoan. 1997... Wild Samoan Training Center moves to Hazleton, P.A. July 12, 1998... Sportsfest '98, Allentown, P.A. First live TV supercard of Top Rope Productions. Oct 9, 1998.... The first ever awards banquet takes place in Hazleton, P.A. for the students and wrestlers of Top Rope/ Wild Samoan Pro Wrestling Training Center Nov 1998.. WXW World Xtreme Wrestling is formed by Top Rope's C.E.O. Afa the Wild Samoan, continuing the long-running title lineage of Top Rope Productions and it's history. July 11, 1999.. Sportsfest '99, Allentown P.A. Second Annual Live TV supercard. Nov 6, 1999.... WXW's Second Awards Banquet 99, Allentown P.A. Jan 2000... Wild Samoan Pro Wresting Training Center opens a new branch in Allentown P.A. July 9, 2000.... Sportsfest '00, Allentown P.A. Third Annual Live TV supercard. Oct 15, 2000... WXW's new TV debuts with its first Live TV taping in Allentown P.A. Nov 18, 2000.... WXW's Third Awards Banquet 00, Allentown P.A. July 13, 2001... Sportsfest '01, Allentown P.A. Fourth Annual Live TV supercard. Dec 2, 2001.... WXW's Fourth Awards Banquet '01, Allentown P.A. Jan 2002.... WXW's new weekly show WXW RAGE TV debuts Spring, 2002... WXW's first overseas tour. WXW's top stars entertain for troops in several Middle East nations, including war torn Afghanistan July 12, 2002.... Sportsfest '02, Allentown P.A. Fifth Annual Live TV supercard. Aug 25, 2002....
