  • How did you 'rescue' an animal native to Japan?

  • @ESCDownUnder Not sure if you read her story.... Yes these Macaques are native to Japan but she was (along with many generations of her family) born in the United States. Her mother attacked her at only a few days old and if it wasn't for human intervention she would have been killed. Her jaw was dangling and she had almost lost her eye... So yes we did 'rescue' her and we are very proud of ourselves for giving her another chance at life.

  • @ForeverPrimatePets Good for you for rescuing her!! Wonderful story:) As animal lovers that want the best possible outcome for her, you'll be giving her to a sanctuary to be professionally cared for and allowed to enter a troop of her own? (when she's weaned)

  • @ESCDownUnder That's if she ever trusts other monkeys... as of now she is terrified of other macaques.

  • MoNKEYS ARE CooL

  • Where can I get a monkey?? Plz,answer

  • SO ADORABLE!!! How often do you have to change his diaper? Do they ever try to fling their feces?

  • @ForeverPrimatePets I bet! :( Sorry to sound cynical, just that some people put there need to nurture something cute ahead of the animals fundamental needs. Sounds like you are great carers!

Keep us all updated on her recovery...so much fun to watch!

  • I just signed the petition!! Great job on that video, and this one!!

  • awww both soooo cute! I would love to have a monkey some day!
