It is believed that whenever a child calls out to the Mother Goddess with pure devotion, She runs at his/her refuge,
This is a powerful composition of the multiple names of the Goddess sung in form of a poem ( Doha Chhand as known in North India ) by an anonymous Gujarati poet..
The poet calls out to her and praises each form as their names are being said out. And offers his salutations at the end of each verse.
