  • i stand corrected, Model: 212

    Series: Specialty AccuTrigger: Yes

Sights: Drilled and tapped for scope mounts AccuStock : No

Magazine: Detachable box Stock material: Synthetic

Barrel material: Carbon Steel Stock finish: Matte

Barrel finish: Satin Stock color: Black

    Barrel color: Blued

the earlier 210f is a fixed mag.

  • its a fixed magazine. no savage rsg has a detachable mag.

  • Moving the gun around with a finger on the trigger is senseless and a bad habit. Learn to keep your trigger finger out of the trigger guard until you are ready to fire. You can always tell when a person is not very experienced with firearms.

  • @DonaldJ22 true, it is a bad habit of mine. i'll work on that one.

  • a rifled barrel is for solids only my friend, put shot through this and where it will end up is well your guess is as good as mine. i think the 212 comes in a smooth bore too, this may suit your needs better.

  • Why don't you load the magazine, then chamber a round, and them insert your magazine? It looked to me like you were loading the mag through the chamber.

  • @HRMuffinStuff Yeah ok thanks guys, Based on that, i have just bought a Sportco 81 smooth bore,

The magazine is removable. Don't shoot rifled slugs through a rifled barrel - sabots only. They are expensive to shoot and the reloading options are VERY limited. This particular gun has had quite a few problems with misfires due to lack of sufficient firing pin protrusion. A gunsmith familiar with the probem can fix it for around $35.00 US as of 2011. When they shoot they are consistently <6" at 200 yds off the bench. Very nice rifled shotgun.

  • i own the same gun scope mount doesnt matter the still hang up. on the flip side it is accurate and deadly.

  • do your shells eject properly if you have no scope on your gun. seems that your scope is causing it not to eject . maybe a higher scope mount might help with the ejection
