WBIDetroit.com Presents:
Full version of a contest entry submitted by Greg Fargo for the 2011 "Believe In The D"contest sponsored by Garden Court Condominiums. The contest entry was limited to 2 minutes but over the course of the 11 days filming, editing and producing this video...It became something more than a contest to Greg Fargo, Jeff Wegner & Seth Brecker. It became a movement, it shaped the way we thought about Detroit's past and it inspired optimistic beliefs for the future. This video is only the beginning. We plan to make many more videos and have a lot of great ideas to share with the city of Detroit. If you want to see more videos like this, Please show us some love and help us spread this message with the world!
We Believe In Detroit... Do You?

  • @xTheReal7x Well, according to the contest site, "Capture on video what you love most about the city. Showcase the people, places and things that make Detroit a fabulous city to live." Why are you so mad? Sorry that the video is sub par at best.

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles Since you're so smart and seem to know ever flaw to this video, you shouldn't mind telling me the meaning of it huh?

  • Great job @Greg, @Jeff, @Seth and the rest of the team. Big things are coming and it all starts here. Remember this moment. Cherish it. Cheers!

  • @xTheReal7x I don't understand when I see a mediocre video filled with shaky camera shots, dodgy color correction, and blatant generic uses of the American flag? It's not that hard to get.

  • @FuzzyMcDoodles Its a Detroit thing, And you my friend, Do not understand.

  • I don't get what there is in this... it's just several shaky camera shots of Detroit outside a car window with nothing that I (an outsider) would think is iconic of the city. Cuts were boring, transitions were boring, color correction was odd at times, quality of the camera was not very good. It could be a lot better (including the song), but you might want to reshoot it and do something a bit more inventive.

  • You guys did great!! I absolutely Love this video! Keep at it!!!!! I am sure this is one many to come!

  • brilliant

  • Good job bro and good luck

  • Shoutout to Jeff Wegner...keep it up
