@IsaacDelarge "It is music coming from another world, it is coming from eternity." ;)

It is hard to find words for the Mahler 9th symph. 4th movement, especially this interpretation. This movement is so emotional and stirring, after that i feel i was reborn. Mahler and Bernstein are great!

Bernstein is the best ! =]

This movement gets me so high I sometimes have to switch it off for fear of fainting.

It's the fourth movement, the Adagio...around 2 min from beginning of the movement.
-
nice to see Bernstein appear in the Berlin Philharmonie, where he was all but kept out by Karajan because of his religion.

anyone knows which part is it from? is it from the beginning of the first movement?the middle?end??
Karajan once said that this movement was "music not of this world, it is from eternity."

Bernstein's presentation here is nothing less than pure musical genius.
