You do know that stainless steel strings are common for guitar and bass, right?

@BullHorn7 - yep! i tried them, and stainless steel frets but still had the same problem

the difference isn't massive to be honest, obviously the cab models make the biggest difference. You can listen to the direct sounds through monitors, plus you have a global EQ for each output so live if one needs a tweak it's easy to do it without messing with your patches

@Helljeah17 - i tried the SLA1 at rehearsal with my drummer who is LOUD as sh*t and I had it on just under 3/4 volume, with the the Axe FX on 3/4 volume and it was plenty loud enough, and still had a lot left to give \m/
