  • randy946....thanks for the info randy....will check into that through the day today. I realize that with the american economy, everyone is doing what they have to, to keep afloat, and probably very busy too. Also randy, if you may know some common home insurance company's in the States, I'd also very much like to present the idea to them as well. I know Allstate, and some of them do car insurance, but not sure on home insurance. Thanks again.

  • @TheGreasepit Allstate, Farmers and State Farm are the Big Three. YOu can Google the others, there are lots of them such as Liberty Mutual, Hartford, Farm Bureau and many others. Good luck.

  • C'mon all you american people having to deal with this. I've been trying and trying to get through to someone there in the States. I have drafts and plans for disaster proof housing against tornados, hurricanes, and floods. I need an in across the border to present the idea. Been trying to contact FEMA, Homeland Security. Have contacted high end construction firms. I'm Canadian, and want to present this to you there, as we don't go through these issues north of the border.

  • @TheGreasepit Try the good folks at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. They do research along those lines.

  • Greensburg was worse.

  • freaks me out just a tad bit..think i was either in chicago or california during this time..now i dont live very far away from 134 st..just 3 sreets down..hopefully this doesnt happen again..

  • The scary music just makes me fear the aftermath of disasters even more. As a result of this, a safer and more tornado savvy city has risen from the ashes.

  • @Skibeats96 joplin is worse.

  • Joplin is comparable. Maybe not quite as bad though.

  • I still haven't seen damage even close to this tornado did.

  • I was there for this one, that day was scary as hell.

  • I lived in Bridge Creek in 99 and remember this all very well. It was seriously a huge impactor on all oklahomans. Ask any of them who were alive during this outbreak and they will have a story to tell.
