definitely...the tension, the dissonance, the drama in alban berg's music (likewise that of schoenberg) all make current film music seem pathetic, possibly criminally inadequate to the task of supporting what the filmmakers try sometimes to do...

#roguerotting360...I'll take john barry, ennio morricone, bernard herrman, henry mancini over anything these days...carter burwell does some good things in the coen bros films, but I wouldn't sit around and listen to it on its own like I would the above mentioned...
