MILK RIVER DEER BOW HUNT IN MONTANA

THIS IS A VIDEO OF MY BOW HUNT FOR WHITE TAIL IN MONTANA WITH ERIC ALBUS OF MILK RIVER OUTFITTERS. THIS IS THE SECOND DAY OF THE HUNT. THIS 120 INCH 8 POINT WALKED OVER 1000 YARDS ACROSS THE PLOWED FIELD TO A FEEDING AREA. THE SHOT WAS OUT OF A 15 FOOT TREESTAND, THE DEER WAS DOWNHILL FACING AWAY. THE RANGE WAS 42 YARDS WHEN I TOOK THE SHOT, JUST MISSING HIS SPINE BY AN INCH TO THE LEFT. THE DEER RAN JUST 40 YARDS BEFORE EXPIRING. IT WAS SHOT WITH THE BOWTECH GUARDIAN COMPOUND BOW WITH AXIS ARROWS AND GRIM REEPER BROADHEADS. THE MILK RIVER IS WHITETAIL HEAVEN. THIS BUCK WAS IN FULL VELVET, IT WAS ON THE SECOND DAY OF ARCHERY SEASON IN MONTANA.

did u get your deer back?great hunt and congrats!!!i live in milk river alberta,and i also bowhunt all along the river,both whitetail and mule deer...let me know if u got your deer back!!!

@meadowvixen1 Thanks for the congrats. I'm sorry to inform that I still haven't gotten my deer back. It has now been almost 4 years. I think my first buck with a bow is lost for ever. I did get an email from the outfitter stating he was trying to get a court order to get some of his client's mounts back. If I was him, I would take 10 minutes, hope in the truck, and go get my client's stuff, with or without a court order.

@WISCONSINWOODSHUNTER Great place to see a lot of deer, still haven't rec'd my mount though, even though it's been over 3 years. DO NOT USE THEIR TAXIDERMISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!!

Will not use that outfitter or any business affiliated with them. You would think that people would provide good service in the age of mass/instant communication that we live in. Anyone who watches this, 37,000 at this time, will probably not spend their money with this outfitter or taxidermist. Sorry you had this happen to you bud

@wadesmith007 That's almost worth the trip over there to kick some teeth in. The first buck with a bow is a huge deal in my book. Milk River fucking robbed you. I have never heard of them before but they will never get my money. I guess they don't want repeat customers. Bad way to do business. Sorry for your loss man. Hope it finally works out for you.

@WildlifeSeriaLKiller The taxidermist won't take my calls. The outfitter always has the exact same reaction "You mean you haven't gotten it yet?" The he says he will go by there and check on it, then 3 months goes by without a word. Then repeat the above process. Not the greatest way to gain repeat business.
