If the device is the real thing then a close iPhone 4G release date should not be impossible, June 22 anyone!
Next Apple asked for the device back from Gizmodo in a letter from Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Apple Bruce Sewell addressed to Gizmodo Editorial Director Brian Lam which anyway gave credibility to Gizmodo claim of having the real device. Apple also claimed in the letter that Gizmodo had paid $5000 to the unknown person to get the device.
Now the latest news is that Gizmodo has handed the so called iPhone 4G device back to Apple Monday night.
After all this analysts are very optimistic of a June launch of iPhone 4G which could be from Verizon Wireless instead of AT&T in the belief that the new device will be CDMA enabled instead of GSM. But no one knows what Apple is now upto.
