see video attached, constant clicking in vista, indexing isnt the cause because i tried force-running it and it read normally (still clicking)


it clicks all the time, even when heavily reading, the clicking would be the brief pause in reading, when idle the clicking is the brief click,.

  • i found the problem, it seems specific for asus motherboards

  • my dell has windows vista on it and i have a seagate 320gb sata and that thing is doing almost the same thing it is clicking and grinding all the time even when i am not doing anything on it. vista is junk to me.
