Q6ria700 sent me a message asking me about my hair. I tried to include as much information as possible in the comment section. Unfortunately I was unable to. So I made this video. I hope it's helpful.

Note......
I wash my hair once a week and flat iron it once a week (only). I trim my ends every 6 weeks after I relax my hair. I use the Andis when I want a tight bump and the Sunbeam when I want to flatiron and go now.

Thanks for watching and have a lovely day,

Lovely

  • after you relax your hair, what type of conditioning do you do to your hair? Do you deep condition your hair after a relaxer or you only use the aphrogee conditioner? By the way your hair looks really good I'm trying to get like you lol:) thanks for any info you can give

  • @mssresa

I am no longer relaxed. In the past after a I'd relaxed and shampooed I used my regular conditioner...aphogee. Hope this helps.

    Lovely

  • I BEG TO DIFFER WITH THE GEL. tHE BEST GEL i FIND FOR ME IS tHICK N sHINE BY FANTASIA IT IS GR8 ESPECIALLY ON AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR, MY HAIR IS VERY THICK N FRAGILE EVEN THOUGH I AM 20 I USE ALOT OF CHILDRENS PRODUCTS ON MY HAIR CUZ CHILDRENS PRODUCTS ARE LESS HARSH.

  • Hi Blairtaneisha,

I was not a big fan of styling gel when I had relaxed hair. Not all products work the same for everyone's hair. Styling gel was not good for my hair. However as a natural I can wear it with no problems. I now use the I.C, Fantasia Gel and it works great.

    Lovely

  • I have heard that when your hair gets to your shoulders it starts to get split ends and frayed ends b/c the ends of the hair are brushing against your clothing/shirt. So you're supposed to start wearing your hair up in more protective styles such as a bun to keep it off your shoulders and away from your clothes. The constant rubbing of the hair on clothes is what causes those split ends. You also have to keep those ends moisturized.

    Hope that helps. :)

  • Hi Maraquinn,

Thank you. I will use more Biosilk/Chi on my ends throughout the week.

    Blessings Lovely
