Great idea! You should make a plain version of this product in black without animals/shapes for adult students or older students who are embarrassed of the brightly colored animal shapes. I have a son who would definitely benefit from this, but I know he wouldn't use the current production models due to his need to be "cool" in front of orchestra friends.

@bowholdbuddies hehe ahh :P, i wanna get my bf one of these he is kinda scared of playing a violin even though he wants to badly, he is heavy handed. i think this would help him hold it steadier then a normal and give him a lil touch of his own on his bow :3 still needa help him pick out a violin and bow though.
ill check out your site in abit, but i do know he will want a panda if you have it xP or maybe a pink and white husky :P

One of my students came to my adult violin class at Cambridge Center for Adult Ed here in Massachusetts with your Bow Hold Buddie that she had been using all week! Wow!! What a difference in her bow hold!!! So relaxed and excellent form. Everyone tried it and loved it!! Including the 2 Violin Teachers observing my class. Bravo on your invention! It works!!!!

nice idea, will probably use it for my sitar myself, but it kinda seems like cheating abit.. but then again not really, also its FREAKEN AWSOME due to the fact that theyres a frog on there <3, can you make more interesting versions of this aswell ? like a dog? cat? octopuss o.O? i believe it would be an excellent way to customize your product.

@TheHuskyDax Thanks for taking the time to look at my invention Puppy!
Actually the shape of the accessory came first, and then a light animal design was sought [I haven't worked with violin students for 40 hours a week for over 30 years without knowing there had to be a fun animal design [and color choices!]] It was serendipitous that it turned out to be a frog, which is also the name for that part of the bow.
