They don't look too dead in this video, but after about 10 minutes in class they get pretty soft!

  • HI! how long have you been en pointe? Those look nice on your feet. Do you have high arches? Do you know if the shoes are light, medium, or hard shanks?

    PointeTwirlGirl- HAPPY DANCING!

P.S--I don't think you need new shoes YET.... they will last a bit longer. Is the platform sqiushy? Or is the shank broken? Are the shoes no longer supporting you? If the answer to any of these ?'s is yes you do Need new shoes. If not they will last a bit longer. Do you air the shoes out after class?

  • @Nutmeg727 Hi! about a year and a half. thanks! no, my arches aren't high, but they're not flat either! somewhere in the normal range, I think. I don't remember which pair this was...but I know that it was either a medium or hard. Yes, I can tell when my pointe shoes are dead lol xD

  • whats the background music in this? would love to know. also excellent arches!!

  • @kataloca2002 Hi! The music in this video is just some random piano piece from iMovie...I don't think it has a particular artist behind it or whatnot.

  • make sure ur weight it even on bith legs

  • I think that they are deffinatly not dead!

  • These look extremely good on you but i think you can use them a bit longer. A good thing to invest in is pointe shoe glue which will make your pointe shoes last about a week longer when they are dead so you can use them before you get new shoes.

  • @PrackiProductions It depends on the teacher. My teacher let me go en pointe after one year (but I started when I was 14 and I have strong feet and ankles). Some teachers will make you wait for 2 or 3 years. Typically, you have to take at least 3 classes a week to be en pointe.

  • How long do you have to dance till you do pointe? How often do you dance in the week?

Sorry for my bad English xD

  • nice(: but they're not close to dead

  • I've wanted to try these type of Capezio's forever!! I wear Glisse, but I heard Aria has a beautiful pre-arch in them. But I can't figure out where to buy them. Where do you get yours at? :)

  • these look amazing on your feet!
