  • I hope I didn't make you think I wouldn't keep the PDA with me. I keep it in the bag within easy reach and I test reqularly every couple of hours.

  • Actually, it is cheaper upfront then other pumps(it does cost more in the long-run, however). The start-up is $800, and each box of 10 Pods is $345(you go through roughly 10 pods a month).

  • Oh my god, this is amazing. I've got the Medtronic Insulin Pump and the Omnipod looks a billion times better and more user friendly. The only question I have is how much did it cost? My pump costed a freaking fortune and the infusion sets you have to keep buying are tons of money and they're only like a plastic tube with a needle. This is an entire electronic wireless pod that you have to keep buying and replacing, it must cost like $500 a pod!

  • so your only 13 elizabeth?

    yes

well im 55, but it doesnt matter. wanna play find my pod?

    do i ever!

  • Thanks for sharing all of these. We are considering the Omnipod for our 10 yr. old daughter.

  • finally, some nipple!

  • Cool.

You don't keep the PDA with you to test if you feel hypo?
