Monitoring the oxygen sensor output you can see the affects of the hho and how the EFIE and MAF adjustments affect the ECU. My 1992 Ford Explorer with the 4.0 Liter V6 uses at HEGO Heated Electric Gas Oxygen sensor and the ECU changes the Air Fuel mixture every 2 to 4 seconds between rich and lean ensuring the Oxygen sensor crosses the 400mv level.

  • Is your truck running ODB2

  • I am running OBDII on my 98 Expedition through an ELM to my laptop. Works very well for monitoring. You can display both O2 outputs.

  • Unlikely, OBD2 was introduced in 1996, a 92 would not have it unless someone decided to install it after the fact.

  • according to zerofossilfuel you need around 1 to 2 liters of hho gas per minute for every cubic liter engine to get optimal results. Check his youtube channel, there you can find the URL to his website so you can get more information about this subject.
