This footage was shot at the Mercury Cafe in Denver, CO on Tuesday, April 28th (2009). I and a whole brood of friends and surrogate family-types got together to see this fellow and had one hell of a time. We even closed our store early for the evening, just to make sure that everybody could go.
I apologize that there aren't any full songs or stories on here. Ultimately, I found that I cared more to be a participant than a documentarian, and the energy in the room pretty much demanded that I put down the damn camera and get into the swing of things.
So, enjoy a smattering of clips featuring mister Jason Webley and the extremely enthusiastic audience what received him quite well one brisk evening in whenever the hell I said it was.
Songlist:
"Almost Time to Go"
"Ways to Love"
[STORYTIME]
"Two Bottles of Wine"
"The Drinking Song"
Cheers for bringing all your family dude.
If possible I would take all the people I know to see him live.
He is probably the best performer I have ever seen, his show was even better than Iron Maiden or Metallica or Maddona or any big artist, his shows are ... personal, you really get to feel the music.
btw I love that story, "The Eleventh Night".
