My grand father ww2 veteran was in Normandy france on june 6 th 1944, when i was a young boy he told me bits and pieces of the war . he mostly told me of Italy and Chateau france. just places hes been too. my grandfather passed away in 1996 aged 85. thanks grandps for helping make the world a better place.

I have lived in the US (I moved from Canada) and I have got nothing BUT racism for being Jewish. Its because of tolerance that my grandmother chose it to escape from the Nazis.

o. I heard from one it was during the end of the war and he was one of the kids forced to join. and he was captured by canadians and sent to Canada

Canada is the BEST Country in the world. These Guys made our country the way it is today. Thank you to all the War vets out there especially canadian war vets. God bless and hope that we will always remeber you. Both my Grandfathers were Canadian Navy Vets and my step grandfather was worked at a candian M*A*S*H centre in ww2

Canada is a great country. Im from US and lived there for 6 months. There seems to be vary little rascism. Seems to be one of the very few countries where jews are not hated.
Best looking women as well.
