If you mean the muscle that runs along the side of your shin get ahold of some resistance bands. Tie one to a pole and to your toes. Start with your foot pointed and curl it up. This can also help with non-clinical shin splints. If you mean how to condition your shin, bone kick a heavy bag...everyday...WITH GOOD FORM! Kicing the bag is important, but good form is more important. Your aiming to condition your bone not your muscle. I also take a rolling pin to mine sometimes, but that's just me.

@jajbee it works.....

i broke a gusy leg using your tehniqs

@jajbee this is just one of many option you can do during a fight ^,..,^ but of course you will not need this im 100% sure only if you are against people who don't even know how to kick or defend their self well :) because this is only meant to do a counter (inside leg kick) and I know people who don't know about martial arts will never do this (inside leg kick) ^^ trust me :) all they do is to throw random punches and maybe kicks but 95% of it is just a random punch

I find that if you throw a counter low kick when they've over-committed to one of their own, you're going to end up kicking them in the butt or the back of the leg, either case nowhere near the sciatic.
would you consider posting a video of countering with a pivot-out to mid tiep? I find that's a more effective way to make them pay for over-committing.
also confused why he's throwing the low kick to your inside shin and not the inside thigh?

I love doing this. Sometimes I'll chop at their rear leg as well, towards the ankle and plant them on their butts. Great vids!

hehe...I used this against a muay thai guy that came and trained with us yesterday. Caught him completely off guard.

works better if they throw with the rear leg
sagmann20 3 years ago
1. That would be a completely different technique than the one showed in this video.
2. If you attempt to use this technique when they throw the rear leg, then your hips will be out of position to properly throw your counter. This can be done with slight re-positioning, but the one showed is smoother IMO.
At any rate- I do appreciate you watching, and hope that you'll check out the site and register for a free account.
