  • games workshop, LOWER YOUR PRICES!!! you would actually gain more profit from it instead of spiking the price up 10% all the time!! also fire matt ward, he's writing completely broken army lists and destroying lore!!!

I just cant afford it, i am only 11 and i do not get allowence so lets jut say i have a very low income and even thou i love it i wont pay £10 for a tiny bit of plastic its a rip off (no offence) so please lower your prices.

  • @TheChesneyChrist later down the line. Its a hard time for everyone atm whether you have a good job or not and it sucks ass it really does but seriously dude too many people are complaining about their prices for it to be just an opinion you've even said yourself you can't buy as much as you'd like to in just a few years these prices will be even higher and what will we do then? Now you've made me write an essay lol I've rambled and don't even know if it makes much sense but here ye go enjoy

  • @TheChesneyChrist yes they have staff to pay and everything but they could drop the prices just a little and keep customers who are happy to hand over their money because you're failing to mention the other side of business. This is a very niche market and it isn't the biggest model company around (hello Airfix) but if they keep hiking prices they'll eventually lose alot of customers because of all the new CHEAPER competition they have sprouting up they can quite easily go out of business...

  • @TheChesneyChrist now again obviously business' need to do this to stay in business but at a profit margin which rivals competitors. Now and there are articles online and videos on youtube but I'll give an example, Assault on Black Reach costs around about £14 pounds to make packaging printing sprues dice the lot and when they sell to independent stockists they'll sell for about £44 pounds (last time I checked) now GW sell AOBR for about £65 from their stores..how much of a margin is that?

  • @TheChesneyChrist for all of that not just the brand name it's probably 70% materials used 30% the name which determines the price of the car (Don't know if its fact this is only an example) now the thing that pisses most people off about the prices GW charge is they're selling Skoda quality materials (paint, plastic resin) at Aston Martin prices and good for them they're getting away with it but the prices are always going up even when they source cheaper materials to use.

  • @TheChesneyChrist the reason people get so pissed off with the prices is because they are unreasonable the company are in it for money and noone can begrudge them that its why they got into business but (I'll liken it to the car thing so we're on a similar page) cars are cars they get you from a to b and all do the same thing however like with different miniature brands they aren't all the same other than the name they all have different components different materials used etc you're paying...

  • @johnkerry7 I could make a point by point logical counter but I seriously can't be arsed I mean seriously you didn't need to waffle on that much it's deviated from what's originally been said about you being a dick digging on his job to which you agreed you were doing!! everything else is mute and the colourful names are funny thats while I'll continue to use them ;) however you raise some good points and I will try to address those so here goes....

  • @TheChesneyChrist talking* about. So untill you can make a point by point logical counter without calling me colorful names I am affraid i cannot help you.

  • @TheChesneyChrist around their price points. Any time i have had a problem or needed help with their product they have been there. Missing an arm from a blister? Call GW and they will ship you a whole new item, not just the missin part free of charge? Have a question at the local GW store, they will answer it. Sure they will pitch you something, but that is the job of a SALES person...., unless we are to believe that GW store employees are only there to play games with us. Thats what I am taking

  • @TheChesneyChrist cant afford their product and that they should lower it. Noboy would. There just seems to be a reality disconnect with table top gamers, a spoiled attitude if you will, that says, "ours is a hobby that does not need to fall into the world of busness and the capitalistic drive to make money". Its pretty evident that people complain about GWs customer service when they pretty much serve their customers need. I have a feeling that complaint about customer service again revolves

  • @TheChesneyChrist I work at a shit job right now that doesnt pay me enough nor does it give me enough hours to be able to afford GW products, but again, i dont bash GW for doing busness they way they want to. I dont even blame my company for doing what they have to to make money. I will keep using the BMW example, a car is a car, it does the same thing as a Honda or VW does. But it is the quality and name that makes a BMW cost what it does. But I will not go to a BMW lot and complain that I
