Raptor: Call of the Shadows - Main Theme Cover

This is my own re-spun version of the original game theme. It's the music that plays at the very first level of Bravo Sector, I decided to play the lead melody on the guitar rather than the keyboard. Since the original piece is quite short I decided to lengthen it a bit and throw in a solo.

@Jonathanpoll Apologies for the late reply, I figured out it out by ear mainly. I'm sure if you search around using google or whatever, you'll find either a guitar pro tab or a power tab.

did you play lead it in its original crazy ass tuning or transpose it down to standard tuning?

I played the Lead in standard tuning. There really isn't anything too intricid about the melody that warrants a more exotic tuning really.

I like it, but i think you put too much volume emphasis on the Chorus and the background music. The guitar is supposed to be the forefront of the song, not the part that just repeats all over and over and never varies :p just some constructive criticisim

Yeah, I agree with Oziblade. If the Guitar were a bit louder, it would be -perfect-.

I think he did it right by putting the background music on the forefront. Too many of the remixes are focused on keeping the music the same as the original with minor enhancements.

So it gives a new experience to an old favorite, part of what makes music great is the experimentation. Music should be about new experiences, not about what is popular by mass, which the corporate media has been guilty of shoving down our throats.

Raptor music!! Havent lisened it on youtube or anything from the internet before. But best part is that i played Raptor - Two cover song as an intro to our concert with my ex band. We played some kind of metal, and it really turned us on, starting the gig with a Raptor cover song... great great times:)

Awesome job. We seriously need more Raptor music remixes. And for that matter, we need the original creators of the music to make more.
