THAT'S IT!! Some egomaniac made a wish that he/she was god...POOF! Wish granted. Then It wished there would be light. POOF! It was fucking awesome! After some more wishes, it decided everything sucked. So it wished a flood. It should of wished for ice cream and apple pie and be happy it didn't have diabeetus. The Wish of God. Next thing you know, it'll wanna find the Blue Fairy and wish to be a real god.

One pair of hands working does more than ten thousand pairs of hands clasped in prayer

@Karlopeter1 Um Matt (bald guy) was a hardcore Christian back in the day. In his youth he planned on a job with the church. He became an atheist after doing research on the world. These two know a lot more about Christianity than most so called Christians.

@Karlopeter1 does the bible not say, "Ask an ye shall recieve?" Sounds like wish granting to me.

@ndrthrdr1 Really? Scientific studies? I pray all the time and I don't expect Him to let a person heal very quickly. Lets take a look at a video I saw of two goons praying to God and hoping that someone will get healed. A couple hours went by and the person died. And they said, "Well that proves it. God is not real" How stupid can that be? Look on Youtube by the way for that video. Prayer does alot of good things. Also I'm not religious in any way. Also I could write longer but,

@NOTAFAN2323 said "If you pray for someone to heal or having God be with the sick or people in Africa, then there is a chance that God will help."
Plenty of properly conducted scientific studies have been done to see whether prayer helps people heal better or more quickly. They show that prayer does nothing at all.
Don't believe it? Google
heart patient prayer study
and see for yourself. Nada. Zip. Nothing.
This is exactly what one would expect if your god is imaginary.

@sugrsean ya christians want to die.....to be closer to god lmao

I don't think it's based on wishing it really hard.. i think that when you do the prayer or wish things, you end up getting yourself more confidence... You "go for it".. So that's the possibility of the good side of prayer.. But usually, prayers tend to get depressed, or down and not put an effort to get things, so... yeah, sad thing.

@NOTAFAN2323 "If you pray for someone to heal or having God be with the sick or people in Africa, then there is a chance that God will help." Alright then lets see it! If you find me proof that God has saved even one sick African then Ill pray to God every day. But as it is, there are millions praying to heal the people in Africa and guess what? THEYRE STILL DYING. So either you're God is an asshole who doesn't anssswer prayer at all or: HES NOT REAL. Moron.
Christians are the most blood thirsty people in the world. Why do they get erections over the thought of others being tortured?

this exact scenario was seen in that shit movie, with jim carrey, Bruce almighty
Carrey, playing as god, decides that's too much work to read the prayers... so he just says Yes to every prayer automatically to get rid of them.
the result is that everyone wins the lottery at the same time...
prayer is childish... it's wanting something without having to work for it...
special pleading.
