NCLB leaves behind the smart kids. NCLB forces teachers to focus all their energy on the kids who are struggling and will probably never even go to college. But the smart kids get forgotten about and are left mostly to fend for themselves. We should be helping the smart kids who are going to grow up and be our doctors, engineers, etc... We should be helping the smart kids get to college and help them be our leaders of tomorrow! I don't believe in standardized testing any way. It's B.S.

No way. All a corporate carbon tax will do is raise prices for the consumer and allow companies to spew as much as they like. Cap and Trade in combination with strict penalties for violators is a much more affective way to limit carbon emissions.

You did a good job in the debate last night Bill, it's to bad that they spent most of the night talking about Hillary and Obama and didn't let some of the other Candidates speak. One word of caution though, please stop talking about a "Cap and Trade" system for CO2 emissions. We need a corporate carbon tax, "Cap and Trade" is for the Republicans, and is not the right way forward.
I'm a strong supporter of Governor Bill Richardson's campaign for the Democratic choice, for the Presidency in 2008, and after listening to him speak and reading through his plans for our educational system, especially his feelings about provding a decent incentive for good teachers and placing an emphasis on math and science skills, it confirms my commitment that Governor Richardson is my logical choice to be this country's next President.

Can Hillary or Obama make the same credible statements on the U.S. educational system being in disarray? I think NOT! Richardson is the right choice for President!
