Crawford Co. GA Lions Club Veterans Hunt

Roberta GA; Crawford county lions club along with; Uniwattee Plantation, Academy Sports, The Wild Turkey Federation and The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is sponsoring the second annual Disabled Veterans Hunt Oct31 - Nov 1 2008 to thank and honor disabled veterans for their service and sacrifice for our freedom. Bob Pascal, Ed Tomberlin, and Tommy Clack coordinated the event. Volunteers from the lions club, Uniwattee staff and many others helped out to make this a great event. Academy Sports in Macon Ga provided the Hunters with Camo outfits to keep the hunters warm and safe on the 32 degree morning. The Wild Turkey federation handed out knives and Turkey call as gifts to the veterans. The Uniwattee Plantation staff;Ed, Steve, Bo, Jack, Claude and Bobby have been preparing for more than a month to get ready. Thanks to everyone for a Great event.
