Just installed the zex nitrous kit, less the bottle opener. Just a view of what I did, but might not be in order much, but very close. Wish I had the BHR throttle spacer, and fuel line splitter lol. I soldered every connection also, and did the throttle body cooling bypass.

0. Mounted Purge/Heater switchs to center console aux compartment. Mounted controller switch in ashtray.
1. Mounted bottle straight within trunk.
2. Ran nitrous line through the grommet in the trunk up to engine bay along fuel line.
3. Wired bottle heater ground in trunk, and then ran power through center console and connected it to aux power and then to the switch.
4. Mounted controller to brake booster and connected nitrous line.
5. Drilled a hole under the hood latch cable, then connected main controller power to fuse box which I ran inside the car to the ashtray, then back out to the controller.
6. Mounted the purge and drilled a hole in the wall to run the line. Then I ran the power into the cig power to the switch, and back out to the purge
7. Connected the TPS wire to the controller.
8. Drilled intake for nitrous nozzle, then connected the line from nozzle to the controller.
9. Took off the alternator/bracket to get to stock fuel line/put on new fuel line and connected it to the controller.
10. Put alternator/bracket back on and double checked everything. Good to go.

  • Please clean your engine all that work and we can see bolts and brackets that were in need of a good cleaning.... Thats a lot of work you did wow. Clean install.

  • @alterego667

lol, I did clean the engine about a week after this video, which I wish I would of done before this video. Our road is a dirt bowl basically, so it's hard to keep up with it sometimes. As for the bolts I was going to replace them with stainless since I drive this all winter long, but I'm waiting to get them all at once. All the work was worth it thanks.

  • is that a 50 shot bottle

  • @joshua78874 It's a 10lb bottle set with a 55 shot at the time.

  • Hey Synthetic, quick question. On a scale of 1 to 10, based on your cars performance on acceleration and speed, what would you rate it as? Im thinking about either getting the rx8, or the supra, rx7, impreza, maybe maybe the evo, nissan 240, or the 250. Nice vid btw!

  • @FlowzTheRhythm One more thing lol. Go to the forums and research the vehicles also, but you will always have the naysayers on there so don't get discouraged. I love my rotary engines regardless of power, or if they can or can't beat certain cars. Thanks by the way lol.

  • @FlowzTheRhythm If I was you I would go and test drive them or find someone that has one to give you a ride so you can have a first hand on the handling and performance of each car that way it makes it easier to decide what suits your wants and needs. For the videos on here of the other cars just like the 8 you just don't know since I've seen almost all your cars getting beat by something they probably could beat themselves, or ran faster then they should. No offense to anyone, sorry lengthy.

  • @FlowzTheRhythm Watching some of the 8's race on youtube makes them look like they can't really do anything, but no one knows how the compression is, tune up, maintenance, how well they can drive it, or if it's just staged for the car not to do as well as what you think it should.

  • @FlowzTheRhythm That is a hard one to pick lol. I would probably say maybe 7 since my friends have a 350z and a cobalt SS and when we go to a private course we are side by side just about the entire length of the 1/4 mile without the nitrous.

  • @FlowzTheRhythm *nissan 350z
