not fresh water lobster, they are called yabbies, and he could have caught more then one there. SOP is to boil them BTW, not just to chuck them on the coals.

re: jabbies/crawbobs/crawlfish, they'll grab onto plastic worms, sticks, just about anything. Doesn't have to be meat with smell, just gotta pull em up slow and keep them from working out it's not food.

on the campout with my youthgroup last year we caught around 45 crayfish out of the creek and boiled them up. BEST SEAFOOD EVER. except for crab
