I was a mechanic on the BONE flown in this video. From a maintenance standpoint, it was a POS. It is easily the most impressive aircraft to see fly in person.

about 15 years ago at an AFB in Nevada, a retired AF couple in their RV parked on the side of the road over night (unfortunately in the low altitude test run area), found themselves and their RV lying on its side aftrer a B-1 flew over them at about 50 ft

@cschweitzer6472 Quite right, if the pilot wanted to go supersonic at that height, it'd be no problem, but all the spectators would be deaf. Our boys in Afghanistan have gone mach in the B-1, at that level to do just that, leave potential targets deaf.
