  • For the best flowering, hydrangia need SOME direct but low sun. I have several on a slop that gets both low morning sun till about 11AM then gets shaded by house and high shrubs till late afternoon then a couple hours of sun around 4PM to sunset. Because they do like moist soil I placed the sump pump drain tube so they benefit. Helps to have a loamy well drained soil so they are moist but not soggy. They grow like weeds and have flowers a foot across.

  • You probably know by now that those Hydrangias are not sun worshipers and I can see by the sun on your face the are prob planted in too much sun. They love to be kept moist also. I'm going for bright shade for my next plant!

  • Yep, its dead that stinks. I love your little garden, that turned out nice.

  • What a beautiful stick bush!

  • I guess they sold you a dead one. Sheesh! You have to watch everything in this life...
