We have been there now for 5 times on fuerteventura and we never had problems with local people! ........And we do bodyboarding.........Just respect the other surfers and give them space in the Ocean...And they will respect you...The people on Fuerteventura are chill and nice!

this comes from someone who lived on the island for three years surfing almost every day and partying most nights....
you can be the nicest guy, if you are unlucky and get caught out by the 'BA' locals theres not much you can do - get out of there or they'll kick your ass
unfortunatly this goes for kind-of all the best spots in the canay islands!!
if your unlucky and pick a bad time to go out some dumbass, agro, majorero (the marroccan/canarian breed) will no doubt breack your balls...

I really don't know what you are talking about mate.
I've been living here on Fuerteventura for 13 years now and never had any problems with the local canarian people.
I surf and/or windsurf every day, stil.
Maybe you should learn a couple of words of spanish. I know for a fact that speaking their lingo helps a lot. Apart from that, just show the guys some respect in the line up, be patient and enjoy the good waves out there.
