Pat Benatar broke down a lot of walls and paved the way for female R&R singers. she could sing rock,love songs,and blues. Some people didn't like the way her direction of music went.But she and Neil told the record label "tough shit " and did it their way. I respected her for her guts.If it wasn't for her,Madonna and all the artists to Lady Ga Ga wouldn't be shit. None of them had a 3 octave range. She is touring with REO Speedwagon now and still looks and sounds HOT !

2011 and I’m still hitting replay on this song! I LOVE PAT BENETAR! DAMN she can sing her booty off! Her strength, beauty, and kick ass attitude has been such a huge inspiration to me being a female singer! She has paved the way for female rock singer! I am in a pop/punk band called HEY YOU.
