The oldest science of all is shamanism. Dealing with our perception and it's interpretation is a technology that predates the discovery of fire

If you are a science freak may I suggest that you read some biography or atleast philosphocial statemnets made by accomplished scientists/mathematician to your surprise you will see that they endorse/approve religious/spiritual learnings.
While sciene is like proveable theoroms, spiritulity is like postulates accepted by some people. I would request you to take up the challenge & prove the postulates by investing time & efort by studying & need be re-proving them.

Hey, read your comments & felt it is quite unjust to make strong comments without studying the subject.
I mean to carry a gross misunderstanding of spirituality one can't judge it. Take some pain & explore by asking questions rather than making judgements.

for christianity, religion and science may be two different subjects. but for Buddhism and Hinduism, specially In buddhism, no teachings are there that contradict science.
In the words of Einstein," Buddhism can be the cosmic religion becouse it is most scientific." max-plank also agreed that he was inspired by 'the nondualism philosophy of Vedanta, a school of Hinduism'.

India, this is about India, a different world from the U.S. I hope your cold war way of thinking is a minority in the U.S.
