Yamaha Red Hot Sax Nite II occured at Winter NAMM 2011. Yamaha used this event to debute their New Custom Z Soprano Saxophone. This Clip features Mindi Abair on the New Yamaha Z Soprano Sax, Dave Koz also on the new Yamaha Z Soprano Sax, Jeff Kashiwa on Sax, Keith Loftis on Sax, Jeff Coffin on Sax, Bobby Shew on Trumpet, Andy Martin on Trombone, Nathan East on Bass, Ross Bolton on Guitar, Russ Miller on Drums and Russell Farrante on Keys. This many great artists on one stage should be against the law.
@joejohnson043 I definitely agree with you concerning Abair, but not so much with Koz. Abair sounds like a sick dog.

Coffin can bend soprano notes so well it fucks with you. There's no good reason why he wasn't demoing the Z in this song.

Yamaha must not be ready for mass sales on the Z sopranos yet, not wanting too many immediate orders to force major back orders on their sopranos, or else they wouldn't have premiered them with Koz and Abair... hideous; hand the horn to Jeff Coffin right on the same stage.....what the crap?!
