Los Nahuatlatos at the Limelight Fiesta 2010

Some of the opening acts for Ollin was Los Nahuatlatos, a new local group from San Anto with other sub-groups combined like Chicano Rap band Itzli. The event took place on April 16, 2010, at the Limelight on the St. Mary's strip. They are playing La Bamba like Los Lobos, but with a grunge cumbia twist. Dressed like Los Tigres del Norte, they caught the attention of this great band in the making as members of Ollin performed on stage with them, a fusion of artistic blends and melodies. Los Nahuatlatos did an awesome job in performing and opening for Ollin and Bombasta. The combination of rap, cumbia, funk, and traditional Mexican cultural songs have a mezcla attitude in the Chicano world of Aztlan music. Alvaro, ya'll rocked vato. Thanks for a great show.
