On this day in 1958 {January 26th} Jimmie Rodgers performed "Oh-Oh, I'm Falling In Love Again" and the b/w "The Long Hot Summer" on the CBS-TV program 'The Ed Sullivan Show'...
One month later on February 17th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #7 and spent 15 weeks on the Top 100...
The B-side also charted, "The Long Hot Summer"; it reached #77...
R.I.P. Mr. Sullivan {1901 - 1974} and Mr. Rodgers will turn 80 years old this coming September 18th...

@eckleburg22 it wasn't during production that Paul & Joanne got married it was inbetween completion and world premiere. it was during production that she conceived their first child though she miscarried during their honeymoon which was quite devastating for both of them so much so that he never spoke about publically and she still hasn't but thankfully they had Nell about 14 months later
