Join Wyclef Jean by donating to the Haitian relief effort at participating Starbucks

In response to the Haitian relief effort, Starbucks today committed support and funding to the growing international relief effort. Starting today, Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada will enable customers to make monetary donations at store registers, with no purchase necessary, to benefit the American and Canadian Red Cross organizations for a limited time. The Starbucks Foundation will also donate $1 million (U.S.) from The Starbucks Foundation to the American Red Cross efforts to help Haiti.

I don't understand why people are so down on Wyclef. He's been a proud Haitian-American all his life, he's written about Haiti in his songs, and created his own Charity to help Haiti (Yele) long before the Earthquake. Now, since people have started taking offense at how Yele spends it's money, He's asking people to donate to the American Red Cross instead, because HAITI needs help. Haiti can be a democratic, prosperous nation, if only people take an interest today.
