  • I love how the guy yelled "YEA!!!!!!!!" when it exploded.

  • Man, I can't believe that those guys in the jet actually lived through that. They ejected somehow... While going Mach 1 at least. Wonder how they knew jet was gonna blow so fast...? Btw I know they lived because I read some old news about it from like '95. And 1 year later the same guys, in particular John Stacy Bates who was the pilot for both incidents, crashed another f-14 and killed himself, his squadmate in the jet (whatever they are called), and 3 civilians in Nashville. Crazy stuff. Make

  • @NickSolo420 I'm imagining someone else would have done it that year. There was no shortage of men willing to risk it all to be the first. Watch The Right Stuff if you've never seen it. Great flick.

  • Dude, that was Murphy's law all up in your dome, sometimes it B'Z like that ,if you want to go full throttle?(1000-500+)MPH...A ride most of us will never know.

  • Imagine if that had happened to Chuck Yeager, would we have the tech we do today?

  • @390bullitt1968

Perhaps you are right, perhaps you are not. But you have no place calling me a communist, as I have simply remained neutral about this. Regardless, even if you are correct, of what significance does that specific event hold? Yes it is tragic and at the very least is deserving of an investigation, but you talk about it as if it completely changed the nature and policy of the United States.

  • @Ap3xYank - USS liberty was not friendly fire. The head of the CIA and the head Navy lawyer who was ordered to write a false case conclusion admitted it was not friendly fire. 3 Israelis fighter pilots refused to attack the unarmed American vessel. For you to call it friendly fire makes you a communist.

  • @390bullitt1968

And in the 190th Fighter Squadron, Blues and Royals friendly fire incident 2 American A-10 Thunderbolts attacked 4 British Challenger 2 tanks, killing 1 and wounding 5. In Afghanistan British soldiers fired 6-8 javelin missiles at Danish soldiers from the Royal Life Guard, killing 2. Friendly fire happens quite frequently in war, even between separate nations. I don't understand what you are trying to prove with the USS Liberty Incident.

  • @MrMurderdout - wanker

  • @Ap3xYank - Those who refuse to support an investigation of the USS Liberty- approve of what Israeli did on June 8, 1967 to the USS Liberty. 34 Americans sailors were murdered by Israel that day and Americans show by their inaction, they do not give a hoot.
