The movie is excellent of its own accord (excellent script, excellent direction, excellent acting) but the Marcelo Zarvos soundtrack brings the film to the level of greatness. Superb soundtrack so beautifully scored to the film. Makes you feel what the characters feel. Gets you inside the story very quickly and once in, you can't get out until the conclusion.

this movie is one of the best police dramas i have ever seen along with training day and gang related.

SPOILER ALERT.......Out of the ones who died,I wish Shell (Ethan Hawk) didnt die cuz all he wanted was money to move his pregnant wife out of that mold infested house and the police force didnt pay enough. What really bothered me a lot was his friend that kept on his tail. He was bugging for real,it seems,but it shows at the end he was a real friend to Shell. Shell just wanted more money to better his wife's health.

Im in love with this music. The tune of it is so light/dark. When I first saw this movie and heard this I said I had to have it and now I do. By the way,this movie is very good. The way it was put together was awesome.

I love this music. whoever composed this is a mastermind and Antoine Fuqua is a genius for emplimenting this song into the movie. This movie was a masterpiece and in my opinion this movie was better than American Gangster, even though American Gangster was based on a true story. This movie seems to show more of the real modern day dilemas that go on.

One of the most underrated movies I have seen during the last 10 years. A story which is almost real and the actors were amazing. The soundtrack is great.
