THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! My husband has gone through HELL for the last 3 years with his ex-wife with all of the incidents you have described. He can't afford a lawyer and the courts are so biased, we would be homeless trying to pay an attorney. God Bless you for this!!

@leetledanigirl They deserve special protection. My issue is with the justice system which will seemingly always take the woman's side. Men and women both have to worry about different things from each other. Women have to worry about getting physically attacked by men and men have to worry about getting accused of something by women. Obviously the physical thing is more life threatening, but accusations can also ruin a person's life

@somotastic21 Women are not always right, but i do believe its been made a point already that the justice system is NOT fair. Women should not take advantage of this, but women, being smaller and weaker than men, do deserve to have more protection.

To be honest It scared me so much because I didn`t think this system is so primitive to back up false reportings.I know eventually I`m gonna have to sell the house and move back to Europe.I have never experienced this side of this country that millions of hard working americans have to face every day,and even families break up because of this.It is awful what is going on.But god bless everyone and take care of yourselfes,and choose your partner wisely.

And you guys have to be very very careful about restraining order,even if you`re the one who wants to put protective order against someone,because even if you don`t go no near by that person or you didn`t try to keep in touch with that person,but if that person calls the police and says you broke the protective order...guess what?The police will arrest you and put you in jail,there are no investigations and nothing.It is basically a HE SAID SHE SAID THING.It`s about who calls the police first.

I`m thinking about moving from the united states because it is actually very similar to systems like socialism or fascism.You can have a property but if it comes to ``fake reportings`` you can`t do anything.You will not have the right to go back to your own house.And let`s face it a piece of paper never protected anybody in this world.You can be the most good hearted and innocent person in the U.S.A. antil somebody press charges that are often fake.This is actually a huge business for the court.

I have a horrible experience about protective order.My wife reported me after her ``beating me up`` and I just grbbed her wrist to defend myself....but it still didn`t matter the police pulled me out of my own house and MY OWN PROPERTY,and put me to jail.I can`t legally defend myself in this country,domestic violence is justified for women but not for men.There is no investigation at all,the police will put you in jail because she said so.I know it sounds impossible but it is true.
