The choral anthem "Ave Maria" composed by Jacques Arcadelt (1507-1568) is a beautiful sacred choral arrangement performed in church services. During his long and productive career, Jacques Arcadelt wrote 24 motets, 125 French chansons, 250 madrigals, and three masses. This is a recording of the Pittsburgh Diocesan Choir during a pilgrimage to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC.
