I was introduced to Wallis & Matilda's music as a 16 yr old many yrs ago by a Vic Railways bloke (Brian Harridence) & have been "hooked" by their music style ever since.

Thank you so much for posting this... I remember listening to this on my parents radiogram! I always got teary (and still do it seems) when I hear that his hardy mountain pony could hardly raise a trot... His name was Andy in the book adaptation and Denny in the movie....

Love the pioneers album, I think it was by Wallis and Matilda.
Pity this isn't in one continuous piece.
